The average weekly cost of a 40ft sailing boat with 3 cabins and 2 heads is around 2,500 Eur/week. If you require a skipper and wish to charter a more luxurious 50ft sailboat, the costs are closer to 6,000 Eur w while similarly sized sailing catamaran would cost at least 10,000 Eur per week in high season. At the same time, the average weekly charter cost of a 30m superyacht is between 50,000-100,000 Euros. The cost for a weekly charter of an 62ft sailing catamaran runs from around 20,000 – 40,000 Eur and a genuine superyacht of around 40m+ may request from 150,000 Eur per week plus all expenses and any local VAT or taxes. This applies to all major sailing destinations worldwide although differences mainly occur on the level of luxury required and season in which the boat is chartered. The costs may be much lower off season or much higher during the peak season.

In this case, a boat that costs 50,000 US$’s per week would cost 8,333 US$’s per day or 25,000 US$’s for 3 days. Depending on the location of the charter, expenses, taxes, licences, food, drinks, VAT would come on top or be included .
