Southernmost of the Windward islands, Grenada is one of the most secluded islands in the region, and therefore ideally located for social distancing and self-isolation sailing holidays in the East Caribbean.  With only a handful bareboat charter yachts based here, we recommend advance booking and ahead planning in order to be able to choose best yachts, get best advance booking deals and ensure your preferred sailing weeks are reserved for your party or family. You will also want to make stopovers at Tyrrel Bay and Sandy island for optional lunch, before hitting the obligatory Tobago Cays, known as one of the best sailing anchorages in the world anywhere. These jewels of the Caribbean are a Marine Park and ideal stop for tasting lobster BBQ and not to be missed seafood of any kind.

Islands of Mayreau, which offers free mooring and a white-sand beach, the Royal island of Mustique where all the rich and famous tend to congregate at times, exclusive but peaceful Bequia and Union Island where customs clearance can be done at Clifton Harbour and biking or hiking tours tend to be popular are rounding up a perfect itinerary.  Finally, don’t forget a visit to Petit Martinique as it can be a useful location to provision with water, ice and alcohol, given the shortage of these items on islands in the area and to round up one of the most fabulous sailing itineraries anywhere.
