Sail around Aeolian Islands with 12 guests on a recently refitted 85ft gulet!
Refitted in 2019 and featuring 6 en suite guest cabins this gullet is one of the best in Sicily:
You can now plan your 2021 sailing season around spectacular Aeolian islands off Sicily in Southern Italy. Part of Messina province, a town on mainland Sicily which you will and may want to avoid before boarding your yacht nearby, the 7-islands of the Isole Eolie (Aeolian Islands in Italian) are known as a mixing pot of European, Arab and African cultures and influences.
As biggest, Lipari is also one of the closest and likely to be second on your itinerary after Vulcano which is around 10nm off the mainland of Sicily. While all islands are of volcanic origin, Lipari is the oldest and most developed with highlights including Lipari Castle and the nearby archeological museum. Salina is next largest and is known as a laid-back location with great food scene and amazing nature. Vulcano is the usual first night stop and ideal for thermal mud bathing experiences and hiking. Black sandy beaches can be found here in abundance too; a great contrast and starting point for your amazing de-luxe gullet yacht charter cruise in Italy.
Most superyachts, de-luxe gullets and families tend to navigate towards exclusive Panarea though. Romantic getaway does not get better anywhere in Europe; its comparable to best of glittery St Tropez, splending Amalfi coast and Capri island and romance of Dubrovnik and Venice. Ideal for relaxing swimming and sunbathing too, luxury shopping and fine dining rounds up the offer on Panarea. Home to many freelancers, in particular creative souls such as artists, Stromboli is best known for volcanoes that are located here, some still active. This attracts many adventure seekers and hikers with Alicudi and Filicud, as the most remotests and not always accessed, ideal for those keen to find isolation, seclusion and total social distancing.
Thanks to predictable weather and hot summers, the season lasts longer than in other parts of the Med, thus sailing from as early as late May and up to last weeks of September can be recommended here. With a luxury gullet such as HAND CAPO GALERA, you can also plan lots of waterskiing, SUP paddling and kayaking as the boat will have plenty of watertoys on offer for all the guests.
With prices start from only 11,500.00 Eur/week and already including local VAT (IVA is 20% in Italy), you will not only have a luxury sailing holiday but also a good value one. Ideally, you will want to sail end of July or last week of August, avoiding famous Famagusta and school holidays or biggest crowds. The prices in this period are also only 12,500.00 Eur/week which is an amazing value given that similar boats, especialy those accommodating up to 12 guests may ask double in other locations around the Med. The most expensive period between last week of July and 20th August is the most popular, yet also most expensive at 14,500 Eur/week. These rates include use of all facilities on board, up to 4 hours cruising per day and fuel for 6h of generator use per day. You will also find clean bed linen, daily cleaning of cabins and boat in general as well as bath towels. Service of 3 crew is part of the offering while welcome cocktail is a surprise during the embarkation. All other drinks, moorings outside the home port and any port taxes are on top. Full board except 2-dinners that are to be taken on shore is 350 Eur/week and half board is 250 Eur/week per person. Kids below the age of 2 are free, those from 3-10 years pay 50% only.
