Yachting holidays in Montenegro are currently best value in the Med!
When it comes to lastminute yacht charters, we are now seeing discounts of up to 60% on some bareboat yacht charter models.
This is mostly on offer in Croatia, with yachts such as Sun Odyssey 36i offered at 700 Eur instead of a regular price of 1,500 Eur per week starting September 5th, 2020. Such discounts are not offer in Montenegro, yet with deals as low as 30% below usual prices that are lower than in Croatia in the first place, this represents a great value in its own right. One of the boats you can charter on a lastminute basis is Oceanis 48. A family of 4 that would usually be sailing on a 40ft-er in the past, may now be able to afford a sailing boat with a generous beam, large toilets with sufficient headroom throughout and facilities such as diesel generator and air condition, as well as large holding and water tanks. This was not possible in 2019 and before even with maximum discounts.
Add to this optional extras which with savings made are suddently becoming affordable and you may as well want to splash 750 Eur/week to have your own SeaBob (750 Eur/week) and in particular ever so affordable SUP. With a mainsail arch and centred mast making her well-balanced as well as the 75hp marine engine with saildrive, cabin and salon fans, inverter and even an optional gennaker, everyone can now have a luxury bareboat charter experience and nowhere better than by picking up a sailboat in Kotor or Tivat and setting sail towards St Stefan, Budva or Kotor Fjord. With a TV, 4x el. toilets and 2x el. fridges, not only a small family, but also a large party keen on partying, drinking all sailing week, all while self-isolating and social distancing, can also have an amazing yachting holiday experience this summer.
Thus, while there is still time to enjoy this summer, we recommend that you pack your bags, get a flight to TIVAT, DUBROVNIK OR PODGORICA and after a short or up to 2h transfer, pick up your Oceanis 48 or other similar boats available in the area and set sail living like a local, owning the night, exploring the history during the day and relaxing and unwinding all afternoon and each and every day. And if sailing yacht is not appealing, there are also nice power catamarans such as 44ft Fountain Pajot or superyachts such as Azimut 98 Leonardo.
