Turkish Mediterranean coastline is safest sailing area this summer!

Explore the East Mediterranean on board of a fast sailing catamaran such as CATANA 47 CARBON during 2020 end of season holidays.  With huge effort to quell the rise of infections, which included hundreds if not thousands of corona virus DETECTIVES who tracked and traced, and continue to do so, every infected person, Turkey has become a clear winner amongst many losers.  While more prosperous countries such as Belgium and the UK failed in their responsibilities and their government indirectly caused deaths of hundreds if not thousands of their citizens, Turkey managed to protect theirs and their tourism industry too.  Just look at the numbers which show that this East Mediterranean sailing destination is safer than even what is otherwise seen as leader in fighting corona virus, Germany where thousands more have died including every third patient who ended on a ventilator.  With this in mind, we invite you to go to Turkey and set sail amongst this famous coastline with virtually tens of thousands of bays, anchorages and beautiful sightseeing spots.

A typical itinerary would take you out towards Dalyan riverbed and turtle or Iztuzu beach, with stopovers at Gemiler island, Kas, Kalkan, Lycian Tombs in Fethiye and locations such as Sailors Paradise at Paradise Bay or Gocek. Regardless which stopovers you will choose, you can always expect crystal clear blue seas, many coves and even lovaly restaurants, most of which have full facilities and may have even been refurbished just recently. So book your flight to Istanbul, where we suggest you spend a couple of days before arriving in Dalaman airport.  Istanbul is one of the biggest metropoles in the world, with close to 20 million inhabittants, but more importantly full of life, amazing historical buildings and ancient sites as well as traditional bazaars or modern shopping centres.  We can arrange your airport transfers and after a nice scenic ride ensure your early check-in with all necessary covid-19 precautions and allow you to leave already on the day of arrival for your first anchorage at Ciftlik, which is usually the most recommendable stopover on day 1.  Here you can dine at Azmak restaurant after the staff assist you with taking lines and ensuring your mooring is in place.  Shore power is also available in case it will be required and first swim, while chef is preparing your dinner is possible just off the mooring even. The al-fresco dining in this large restaurant with good food is also a good place to provision as owners can take your order and ensure by the morning you have freshest Turkish  produce without going to the local market yourself. This experience will probably set you off nicely so that on next day you can even hit Bozukkale with nearby ancient citadel or even Datca, Palamat Buku where you can dine at Karga Bay.  Rhodes or Simy in Greece are also nearby, or alternatively you can opt for Cokertme, Orak Island and Sogut.  Whatever way you choose, Turkey is full of amazing locations and most of all friendliest people.  The prices here are also the most reasonable in Europe so much so that good value yachting vacation is almost given. We invite you to come to Turkey in 2020 and enjoy the end of summer in the best and safest destination in the Mediterranean this year.
