Charter Destinations in Portugal:

A2A Yachting offers a small number of sailing yachts for yacht charter in Portugal. Algarve is the main cruising area.  Larger yachts are usually available with delivery fees only.

About Yacht charter in Portugal:
Portugal is a lovely country, but is relatively unpopular destination for yacht charter. As a result, only a limited number of yachts are available here.  This is especially true in relation to availability of catamarans and luxury mega yachts.  Thus for your specific requirements, transfer of yachts from Spain may have to be organised.  If you are after a sailing boat from 30-50” however, we are likely to be able to provide a good selection in both Algarve as well as in Lisbon. Starting your charter in Portimao in order to explore the Algarve coast, with clear blue seas and rugged cliffs, coves and secluded beaches is likely to be your choice. This protected coastline is rich in wildlife with eagles and falcons soaring in the skies, and dolphins playing in the calm waters on a regular basis. Predominant North Westerly winds offer good sailing conditions with flat seas prevailing.  If sailing west from Faro you will encounter a number of tiny bays and coves diving by large cliffs and amazing grottoes.  If heading East you will come across many sandy beaches with a choice of protected anchorages that stretch for as long as eye can see.

Yacht charter destinations in Portugal are:

2. Algarve including Lagos, Portimao, Villamoura, Alvor
